Field watches are minimalistic watches that were originally designed for military use in World War I. Built from materials to survive harsh conditions, with high-legibility dials, often with high contrast and simple to use. Favoured now by outdoor enthusiasts, they are also sometimes known as GADA watches - Go Anywhere - Do Anything watches.
