The British watch market is a very interesting thing with more established brands such as Bremont and Christopher Ward sitting comfortably alongside the popular independent watch brands such as anOrdain, Farer, Fears, Marloe, Mr Jones Watches and Studio Underd0g. New and exciting independent watch brands such as Detrash and Edward Christopher have been launched over the last few years, making for lots of choice if you are seeking an interesting and unusual watch.

DETRASH WATCHES
Have fun. Do Good. This is the mantra for Detrash. Ethical watches, made using recycled materials including #tide recycled ocean plastic, 80% recycled steel, fashion industry offcuts and a whole lot more. 1% of each sale goes to eco charities. Featured Watch: The McQ is named in honour of Steve McQueen. The starting point of the design was Steve's own Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox that he wore in The Thomas Crowne Affair. From there we added some Gerald Genta inspired twisted lugs from the Universal Geneve Polerouter, a few design cues from the Patek Philippe Calatrava, a bit of colour and most importantly some 'made from trash' materials.
